Membership is by invitation only, just as it is for all Krewes in Louisiana. All potential members are voted upon by the assembled membership, and are either invited to join or are blackballed. Members share in the desire to promote positive images of the French-American people and our experiences in the American historical milieu. We respect our heritage, our language and our ancestors as well as the sacrifices they have made for us. We respect our ethnic traditions and view our Krewe and our Bal Masqué as vehicles to make a positive impact within the Atlanta cultural tapestry by sharing our rich cultural heritage with others. Most of our membership is rooted in the Acadiana Parishes of Southwest Louisiana, but we also have members from Baton Rouge and metropolitan New Orleans, as well as the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and Alabama. A membership consists of either one single person or one married couple, and each membership has one vote within the Krewe on business matters. Each membership pays the same amount of dues and each membership receives two Krewe Invitations to the Bal Masqué, the inference being that a single person would be able to bring a special guest, and the married couple would simply use their invitations for their own entry. For more information, please send an e-mail message to our Captain, telling us more about yourself and what sparked your interest in our organization.
